Calcutta: Premier Skills is back in the city and, kicking off on Monday for the first time in the city was Phase II of the coaching development programme. The event is organised by British Council, Premier League and Sports Authority of India, Salt Lake (SAI).
Under the watchful eyes of head coach Robbie Earle, the former Jamaica international footballer, 27 coaches selected in Phase I will get further training and more opportunity to enhance their skills.
“We had earlier completed only Phase I,” said Earle, who will be joined by Reading’s Paul Hughes and Hull City’s Andy McMillan in the programme which will go on till Saturday at SAI, Salt Lake.
