SHROFF SUSPENSION WAIVED

Pesi Shroff’s nine-month suspension was waived by the RWITC stewards, who however, fined the trainer a whopping sum of Rs one lakh, on Tuesday. Last year, Shroff’s Bullseye had tested positive for a banned substance, Boldenone, when the mare arrived from the stud farm and was sampled even before she entered the RWITC stables.

TASVEER FAILS TEST

Trainer Jasbir Singh's horse, Tasveer, is learnt to have tested positive for Atenolol, after winning the La Gitana Handicap, on October 14.
