With a thumping win over defending champions Mumbai Indians boosting their confidence, Royal Challengers Bangalore would look to build on the momentum when they take on Rajasthan Royals in Dubai on Wednesday.

The Virat Kohli-led RCB are currently third in the table with 12 points from 10 matches and a win over Royals will certainly brighten their prospects of sealing a last-four berth.

On the other hand, with eight points from 10 matches, it could be a make-or-break game for the Royals.

RCB had a poor start after IPL 2021’s restart with losses to Kolkata Knight Riders and Chennai Super Kings. But they staged a remarkable comeback versus Mumbai with pacer Harshal Patel registering a hat-trick, leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal giving them crucial breakthroughs, and Kohli and Glenn Maxwell laying the platform with timely half-centuries.

No wonder RCB would like to maintain this rhythm. It remains to be seen if they tinker with the winning combination or not. For the Royals, they may have to take a call on whether they should continue with Chris Morris or bring Tabraiz Shamsi back in the XI.
