New Delhi: The Indian girl’s medley team clocked their best timing to finish a creditable fifth at the IAAF World Youth Athletics Championship in Ostrava on Sunday.

The team, comprising Nanda Sarbani (Orissa), Shreya Vidwans (Maharashtra), Anu Mariam Jose (Kerala) and M.R. Poovamma (Karnataka), improved on their heats timings, clocking 2:10.18.

The title went to US (2:05.74), while Jamaica (2:06.77) and Canada (2:09.08s) also managed podium finish, according to a release here. (PTI)
