EB in 88-run win over Mohammedan Sporting

East Bengal earned an 88-run victory over Mohammedan Sporting in their CAB senior division match on Saturday. In another match, completed in one day flat, Paikpara Sporting hammered Burnpur Club by seven wickets. Replying to East Bengal’s 345 Mohammedan Sporting managed 257 before packing up in 75.3 overs. Dharmender Singh (5/53) and Ajoy Das (4/86) were the main wreckers.

Burnpur folded up at 131 and Paikpara completed the formalities (132/3) in a mere 12.2 overs. In other matches of the day Nilambar Saha scored 130 for Calcutta Customs, Tanoy Bag hit 116 for Shibpur Institute and Ranabir Nath scored 107 for Wari AC.
