Calcutta: Graham Andrew Robinson, head of international coaching, Sunderland FC, and Katie Anne Bottom, development coach of West Ham United foundation, visited the East Bengal tent on Thursday, interacting with the club’s youth development coaches and with the colts. 

“Try and develop yourself as a footballer instead of just focusing on winning. Besides, try and follow your local stars too instead of just looking at the Messis and Neymars,” Graham said.

The 26-year-old appeared in the GP3 junior series last year with little success, failing to finish in the top 10 with a car that then proved a winner when it was put in the hands of Britain's Dean Stoneman.

Calcutta: Sulaiman Aind scored thrice as Calcutta Adibasis Club hammered Calcutta Parsee Club 6-0 at the BHA League, on Thursday. In the other matches, Andrew Hooper's lone strike helped CCFC Gremlins to a 1-0 win over Kolkata Union SC, while Hockey Training Centre drew 2-2 with Xaverians.
