The ISL-12 Calcutta derby between Mohun Bagan Super Giant and East Bengal will be played on May 17, it was announced on Thursday.

The match was initially scheduled for May 3 at the Salt Lake Stadium. It has now been pushed to May 17, Mohun Bagan said on Thursday. The kick-off time (7.30pm) and venue (Salt Lake Stadium) will remain the same. The ISL-12 will be having its last set of matches on May 17.

The clash was set for a new date after it was announced that the Bengal Assembly election results will be declared on May 4.

Bagan play Jamshedpur FC away on Saturday. Bagan’s clash against Inter Kashi was also rescheduled from April 26 to May 12, due to the last phase of elections on April 29.

Uphill task

Mohammedan Sporting will have their task cut out when they face Punjab FC in New Delhi on Friday. The league resumes after the international break with this match.
