Calcutta: Bipin Kerketa scored a brace as Eastern Railway routed Howrah Union 5-1 in a Beighton Cup pre-quarter final match at the SAI complex, on Tuesday.

Gurjeet Singh opened the account as early as in the third minute. Bipin then scored in the 25th and 35th minutes. Aman and Kishore were the other scorers. Guprpreet Singh netted for Howrah Union.

Earlier, FCI (North Zone) trounced West Bengal Police 6-0. Ravi (9th), Karambir (10th), Hansha (32nd), Rahul (33rd), John (57 minutes) and Naveen (69 minutes) were the scorers for the winners. FCI now play CAG of New Delhi on Wednesday.

FCI’s Karambir suffered a cut on his face during the match.
