Subasic (Croatia)
Born in October 27, 1984, Danijel Subasic had to wait a long time to secure his spot as Croatia's No.1 goalkeeper. Only after the retirement of Stipe Pletikosa, who played at the 2002, 2006 and 2014 World Cups, did the Zadar-born shot-stopper inherit the starting jersey.
From that moment on, however, he has not disappointed. At Uefa Euro 2016, Subasic was the hero in the decisive group-stage win against Spain, saving a penalty from Sergio Ramos.
He had made his international debut with the Croatian under-21 national team, in a friendly match against Denmark on March 1, 2006. During the same year, he won a total of 6 international caps with the team, including two competitive appearances in the qualifying for the 2007 European Under-21 Championship.
At the club level, the 33-year-old is carving out a stellar career at AS Monaco, having joined as relative unknown from Hajduk Split in 2012. Since then, he has helped the club climb up into Ligue 1 and established himself as one of the leaders of the side.
He played a vital role in the unforgettable 2016-17 season, when Monaco won the league title and reached the semi-finals of the Uefa Champions League.
During his time in the principality, Subasic has also managed to beat off competition for the No.1 shirt from two Fifa World Cup finalists: Argentina's Sergio Romero and the Netherlands' Maarten Stekelenburg. Subasic has so far played 41 times for his country.

Kasper Schmeichel was born on November 5, 1986 and is the son of former Manchester United and Danish international goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel.
A shot-stopper who has developed into a dependable No.1 for his club and country, Kasper has emerged from the shadow of his famous goalkeeping father, to forge a successful career in his own right.
Born in Copenhagen, Kasper joined Manchester City in September 2002 on a long-term contract, which covered schoolboy, scholar and professional terms. He joined League Two side Darlington on a loan deal in January 2006.
Following his strong showings for Manchester City in the early 2007-08 season, it was reported on at that time that England's Football Association (FA) were investigating Kasper's international status, to see if there was any chance of him foregoing his Danish international status in order to play for England.
Kasper was called up to the Danish senior team on May 13, 2011 for the first time for the match against Iceland, but remained an unused substitute. He made his senior debut in a 0-3 friendly match defeat to Macedonia on February 6, 2013.
At the club level, after various spells in England's lower divisions and Scotland, the former Manchester City youth trainee found a home in Leicester City when he signed in 2011. On the road to Russia, Kasper recorded four clean sheets in nine qualifiers for the Scandinavian nation.
