Senior pro Anustup Majumdar made a comeback to Bengal’s white-ball scheme of things, after being included in the 20-man squad for the upcoming Vijay Hazare Trophy (national one-dayers) that was announced on Wednesday.

Owing to his indifferent form, the 37-year-old was dropped from Bengal’s Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy squad despite leading the side in the two limited-overs competitions in a curtailed 2020-21.

All-rounder Sayan Sekhar Mondal too came back in the squad, which has one new face in Ranjot Singh Khaira.

The squad: Sudip Chatterjee (c), Sreevats Goswami, Abhishek Das, Anustup Majumdar, Sumanta Gupta, Ritwik Roy Chowdhury, Ranjot Singh Khaira, Suvankar Bal, Kaif Ahmed, Pradipta Pramanik, Writtick Chatterjee, Shahbaz Ahmed, Karan Lal, Sujit Kr. Yadav, Mukesh Kumar, Akash Deep, Geet Puri, Mohammed Kaif, Sayan Sekhar Mondal, Sayan Ghosh
