Pandya extended his hand for a handshake, but Gill appeared to walk past him. The clip went viral, with fans speculating that the two were not on talking terms.

The chatter intensified when Gill was dismissed early in the match for one run, and Pandya was seen celebrating in an animated fashion. Many saw the celebration as further proof of friction between the two India stars.

On the evening of May 31, Gill addressed the speculation head-on. Posting two photos of himself smiling alongside Pandya on Instagram, the Titans skipper added a caption that read: “Nothing but love. (Don’t believe everything you see on the internet) @hardikpandya93.”

The post attempts to shut down speculation and reassure fans that all is well between the two cricketers. Gill’s calm and measured response appears to have worked, with the photos serving as a show of camaraderie and mutual respect.
