Calcutta: The IPL auction may have got over with the franchises buying the capped players of their choice, but the spadework for a complete team will begin from Monday.

The IPL gave the go ahead to the 10 teams to sign uncapped Indian players, using the remaining balance of their $9m purse, from Monday morning.

According to IPL regulations, the uncapped Indian players can be taken on fixed fees determined by when they first played First Class or List A cricket.

The home and away fixture was also drawn where each team will play a total of 14 games, seven home and seven away matches.

The Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will play five teams (Royal Challengers Bangalore, Rajasthan Royals, Chennai Super Kings, Kochi and the Deccan Chargers) home and away, two teams (Kings XI Punjab and Mumbai Indians) at home and two teams (Sahara Pune Warriors and Delhi DareDevils) in away matches only.

The 2011 edition of the tournament begins on April 8.
