Jaipur: National champion Aparna Popat and Malaysian Lee Chong Wei were given top billing in the women’s and men’s section respectively, in the Asian Satellite badminton championship beginning on Wednesday. Both Aparna and Lee are ranked 24th in the world.

Lee’s compatriot Kay Bin Yeoh, ranked 35th in world, has been seeded two followed by India’s national champion Abhinn Shyam Gupta.

Thailand’s Anupap Thiratsakul who holds 64th position in the world, has been seeded fourth in the men’s section.
