Amit Mukherjee and Priyanka Saha with their medals on Tuesday

Calcutta: Amit Mukherjee and Priyanka Saha won gold in the men’s and the women’s categories, respectively, in the Green Top Table Tennis Championship at Balak Sangha on Tuesday.

Amit defeated Abir Dutta Chowdhury 11-9, 8-11, 11-8, 8-11, 11-7, 11-5 while Priyanka ousted Kuhali Dutta Chowdhury 11-7, 11-6, 11-5, 11-8. Priyanka also won gold in the sub-junior and the cadet categories as well.
