Calcutta: Afreen Talat was the performer of the day as she guided Frank Anthony Public School to wins over The Heritage School and Patha Bhavan in the Keventer Cup for girls inter-school five-a-side football tournament, organised by the Debanjan Sen Foundation, on Sunday.

Scoring the solitary goal for Frank Anthony in their victory over The Heritage, Afreen scored twice as her team won 2-1 over Patha Bhavan.

In another match, La Martiniere for Girls thrashed Bhavan's 3-0 with Sruti Soren scoring a brace. Lalding Zuari got the other goal for La Martiniere. Rinky Khatun recorded a hat-trick while Kausalya Donegan scored once as Future Hope whipped DPS Newtown 4-0.
