In the executive committee meeting Friday, Samir Dasgupta became one of the vice presidents of the club while Sadananda Mukherjee joined the executive committee.

Bagan win

Mohun Bagan beat Eastern Railways 3-2 in a practice match at the club ground Friday. Meanwhile, Palestinian Yousef Mezyan was released by the club Friday as he coudn’t adjust to climatic conditions here.

Keegan out

Chirag United Friday released Australian Keegan Nash Friday. The defender had injured his ankle in Thursday’s practice.

CAB meeting

The Cricket Association of Bengal cricket development committee’s first meeting will be held on Monday under the chairmanship of former India captain Sourav Ganguly. Arun Lal, Ashok Malhotra and Pronab Roy too will be present at the meeting.

Meanwhile, in a T20 practice match at the Eden, Team A, led by Laxmi Ratan Shukla, defeated Sourasish Lahiri’s Team B by 4 wickets.
