Calcutta: Mike Horn is back in the city and will be helping out the Kolkata Knight Riders as they prepare for the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League.

For the uninitiated, Horn, who describes himself as an 'Explorer' in his website, is a motivator and has worked previously with the Knights.

Horn worked with the Knights in 2014 when they won the IPL and also had a short stint in 2016. Not just the Knights, the South African has also worked with the Mahendra Singh Dhonis during the 2011 World Cup and also the German football team during their triumphant run in 2014.

According Knights' CEO Venky Mysore, Horn this time will be having a seven-day stint with the team.

"He of course won't be staying for the entire duration of the IPL. He will be there for seven days... He is one of the best motivators in the world and has also worked with us previously," the CEO said.

Horn was present for the entire duration of the Knights' practice match at Eden Gardens, on Monday.
