Q I own a Sony Bravia HX750 TV. When I watch movies or serials on it from a pen drive, certain movies stop midway. Also, most of the movies I download from torrents are 1080p and Blue-ray supported formats. How do I watch them on the TV?

Your television set should be able to play video files such as ASF, AVC, AVCHD, H.264, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, VC-1 and WMV from a pen drive. You have to be sure that the movies you get are in one of these formats. If you download an MKV file, it will not work. Also, there could be something wrong with the movies you downloaded. It is not uncommon for files to get corrupted while downloading from torrents.
If you download a file that your TV does not support, you can still watch it by converting the file into one of the supported formats. I have been using a free program called Handbrake for years and it has never failed me. The program can convert most video files from DVD or Blue-ray sources as long as they are not copy protected. Try converting your videos to MPEG-4 and see if they work on your TV. Handbrake is available from https://handbrake.fr .
Since you have a smart TV, you should try services such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hotstar or similar providers to cater to your entertainment needs. Piracy is unethical and torrents are very unreliable and risky.

You can now also use a debit card from India. Earlier, this was not possible. To change your payment option, go to your Apple ID account page at https://appleid.apple.com . Sign in and you will be asked to answer a couple of security questions. In the Payment & Shipping section, click the Edit button or click on Add Payment Method. You will find an option to add a debit card. Sometimes, you may face a problem and you might need to call your bank to authorise international or online purchases. You might also need to confirm that the mobile number associated with your payment method is correct. Finally, make sure the billing address for your payment method matches the billing address for your Apple ID.
Space problem
Q I have an HP Laptop with Windows 10 (64Bit) preinstalled. For the past month, I have not been able to change the wallpaper on my computer. The remaining capacity on C drive is only about 8GB. There is enough space in the F and G drives. How can I increase thecapacity of my C drive?

It is obvious that the low storage space on your C drive is creating all sorts of problems. To increase the capacity of your primary drive and decrease the space on the other drives, you need a partition manager. The MiniTool Partition Wizard Free Edition 10.2 is a pretty good utility. Bluetooth blues
Q My Samsung NP300E5X laptop does not connect to any Bluetooth devices such as a mobile phone. Please suggest a remedy.

Open Control Panel and in the search box, type Bluetooth. Click on Change Bluetooth settings. Click the Options tab and select the checkbox for "Allow Bluetooth devices to connect to this computer". Go to Start on your desktop and type device manager. Open Device Manager, right click on Bluetooth drivers and select Update driver software. The laptop's Bluetooth connectivity should now be restored.
