Angul: The Usasi Mishra assault case took a twist on Thursday with the main accused, Indramani Sahu, filing a counter-complaint against her in the court of Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate (SDJM) at Talcher.

The SDJM has directed Kaniha police to probe the case. Indramani said that on April 22, Usasi's car had hit his right leg. Then he shouted at her which prompted Usasi to come out of her car. He alleged that she abused and assaulted him with her shoes.

Usasi had on Monday lodged a complaint with Kaniha police saying that she was assaulted by four men including Indramani.
