Bhubaneswar: Athlete Dutee Chand, who was dropped from the Commonwealth team at the last moment, returned to Bhubaneswar from Bangalore on Friday. Two women athletic coaches sent by the state sports department to fetch her from the Commonwealth camp in Bangalore accompanied her. he athlete requested the state government to help her get medical guidance for treatment of the high androgen levels in her blood, for which the Sports Authority of India dropped her. Bhubaneswar:Union health minister, Harsh Vardhan, began a two-day visit of Odisha on Friday evening to review the state’s health profile. “Odisha has done well in keeping the maternal and child death rate low. Sambalpur: Sambalpur police busted a motorcycle-lifting gang and arrested seven persons in this connection. The police have also recovered 13 bikes from them. The gang members and bike receivers were identified as Sudhir Mohapatra, Rajkishore Mallick, Md. Pappi, Biranchi Behera, Aditya Pradhan, Pitabasa Meher and Narayana Barik.
