Body found

Bhubaneswar: Police on Friday found the body of a 27-year-old woman hanging inside an apartment at Keshura on the city outskirts. The deceased, identified as Smurti Singh of Jamshedpur, had come to the city three days ago with her husband Mrutyunjay Singh, a senior executive at an automobile company. An investigation is on.

Polio drive

Bhubaneswar: The state government has set a target to include 45.4 lakh children under five years of age in the nationwide pulse polio campaign scheduled to be held in two phases from January 19 to 21 and February 23 to 25. The state will have 18,764 polio vaccine centres and more than 75,000 persons will be engaged in administering the oral drops.
