Jajpur: The Rehabilitation and Peripheral Development Advisory Committee on Tuesday expressed its concern over violation of government directives for giving priority to recruitment of local residents in various industrial units at Kalinga Nagar Industrial Complex, a major industrial hub in the state.he committee deliberated on various pending issues, including employment opportunity of local people in the industries working there. The committee members found that the industries hardly followed the prescribed guidelines in recruiting the unskilled, semi-skilled, skilled and supervisor level employees at the industrial houses located there. The child’s parents, who had been working as gardeners at the mayor’s residence, rushed the child to Capital Hospital where he was declared dead. The child’s parents suspected it to be an accident.
