Bhubaneswar: BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday suspended the party’s general secretary Jagneswar Babu for anti-party activities and making a public statement against him. Babu has joined the Odisha Jan Morcha, floated by beleaguered Rajya Sabha member Pyari Mohan Mohapatra. He had criticised Naveen for publicly terming the front as “B” team of the Congress. Bhubaneswar: Singer Prasanta Muduli on Wednesday died of heart attack at Ispat General Hospital in Rourkela. He was 43. His last rites will be performed on Thursday.
