Cuttack: N. Prabhakar Babu, the director (medical) of Seven Hills Hospital at Visakhapatnam, who was arrested on June 16 in connection with an alleged kidney sale racket, was on Thursday remanded in 14 days jail custody. Bhubaneswar: The district sessions and judge court, Khurda, on Thursday sent prime accused Deepak Gupta and his associate Satyabrat Rout to a seven-day judicial custody in connection with Odisha’s multi-crore Uliburu mining scam. Both have been sent to Jharpada jail. Sambalpur: Police have arrested three persons and seized firearms from their possession.
