Cuttack: A petition was filed in Orissa High Court on Tuesday challenging the election of ruling BJD’s Pratyusha Rajeswari Singh from Kandhamal Lok Sabha constituency. udra Madhav Ray, who lost the election as the BJP candidate, challenged Prastyusha’s election on the ground that she is allegedly a citizen of Nepal, where she was born, too. Bhubaneswar: Chief minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday wrote a letter to Union transport minister Nitin Gadkari for the construction of a second bridge over river Brahmani near Rourkela on the Biramitrapur-Barkote section of NH-143 as the old bridge is in a poor condition.
