Cuttack, Nov. 1: A new police station would become functional at Badambadi in Cuttack later this month.

The state government had already declared Badambadi as a police station two months ago. It was done after reconstitution of police sub-divisions within the jurisdiction of Cuttack police. But it still lacks basic infrastructure like office space and staff.

“The Badambadi police station will start functioning in November after the office space is renovated following expansion of the building that houses a traffic outpost and town police outpost. The police outpost has been operational since the ’80s,” police commissioner B.K. Sharma told The Telegraph today.
