Bhubaneswar, June 15: Odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik late on Wednesday night tweeted condoling the death of veteran Odia actress Manimala Devi. But what turned out to be an extreme embarrassment for the chief minister, family members of the veteran actress told The Telegraph that she was alive and on ventilation.

However, the message was removed from the chief minister's official Twitter handle, immediately after her family members went public about Manimala's health."She is stable," said her son and tabla player Shankar Ghose.
