The Indian Institute of Technology here kick off a three-day techno book exhibition to promote reading habits among students on Saturday.

Bhubaneswar: The Indian Institute of Technology here kick off a three-day techno book exhibition to promote reading habits among students on Saturday.

Institute director R.V. Rajakumar inaugurated the exhibition, where 16 vendors and national and international publishers are taking part.

"Students and faculty members are taking part enthusiastically. The faculty members and students from nearby institutions are also invited," said Rajakumar.

The exhibition has 31 kiosks with over 1.5 lakh books on science, engineering, technology, social sciences and management and soft skills, literature, children's educational and entertainment and storybooks.

"It aims to promote reading habit among students and instil a love for reading," said the director.
