Youngsters perform stunts at Raahgiri in Bhubaneswar on Sunday.

A five-member team, led by Wolfram Klein, head of division, South Asia (India), from Germany's Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, visited the 19th edition of Raahgiri on Sunday. They appreciated the initiative of holding such an event that promotes non-motorised mode of transport.

Senior government officials said that the German team was going to provide assistance in transport, road infrastructure and cycle tracks in the smart city mission.

Sunday being International Day of Biodiversity, the theme of today's Raahgiri was based on it. A quiz was organised by Bakul Foundation.

For the first time, three bands from Odisha Police performed at the event. They also opened a kiosk in front of the Kharavela Nagar police station where people gathered to listen to old Odia and Hindi songs played by the band members.

Women in Society Help members organised a corner where they created awareness among youths to respect senior citizens.
