Guwahati, Aug. 19: The Justice K.N. Saikia Commission, probing the “secret killings”, today cross-examined senior police official G.P. Singh.

Singh was cross-examined in connection with the killing of Jyotish Sarma, brother-in-law of Ulfa leader Subhash Sarma, in January 2001.

Now posted as DIG of Special Protection Group in New Delhi, Singh was then SP of Guwahati city police.

To most of the questions, Singh replied that he “did not remember.”
