Peter England’s New Age shirts are made of a new age fabric that has been specially treated to give it a rich lustre and to ensure that no pilling occurs. The Ever Fresh range claims to be the “freshest shirt in the world” that has undergone the Purista test, an anti-microbial treatment that works on shirts to reduce the growth of odour-producing microbes/bacteria, keeping the shirts cleaner and fresher for longer periods. Pure water
Usha Shriram Brita, part of the Shriram group of companies, recently launched its revolutionary water solution products in the Northeast market.
The tabletop Waterguard, a popular model of the company, is a storage-type water purifier that uses iodinated resin and ion exchange technology to purify water.
Specially designed for India, keeping in mind power shortage and irregular water supply, this three-stage purifier does not need electricity and can store 20 litres of water.
Waterguard takes care of physical, chemical and microbiological impurities in drinking water. Water stored in Waterguard remains germ-free and palatable upto 48 hours since bacterial re-growth does not occur. The tabletop Waterguard model is priced at Rs 3,295.
The Waterguard digital has four purification stages and a digital display, which is interactive and keeps the user informed about the status of the purifier. It also has an advanced fail-safe device that automatically shuts off the unit in case there is a problem with the purification function. It can work at low and high voltage, ranging from 90V to 270V. Waterguard digital costs Rs 7,495.
Another purifier, based on reverse osmosis technology — RevOs — has also been launched. It employs five stages for water purification and gives safest and purest water. Specially designed for Indian water conditions, with areas of high level of total dissolve solid (TDS) and hardness, the water is passed through a 0.0001 micron membrane filter. It makes the water both chemically and microbiologically safe as it eliminates pesticides, hazardous metal contaminants and waterborne disease-causing microbes. It makes saline and brackish water palatable, sweet and tasty. For further information, contact Arvind Siotia on 98640-67467 or 98640-47611.
