Shillong, Oct. 2: The additional director of the Intelligence Bureau, Agit Lal, will visit Shillong tomorrow to discuss the security situation in the state after the frequent bomb blasts in the country, including the ones in Agartala last night.

The Centre wants to monitor the movement of Bangladeshi militants who are suspected to have carried out the bomb attacks in Delhi on Saturday, since Agartala, Assam and Meghalaya share large borders with Bangladesh.

Cong flak for BJP: The Meghalaya PCC today slammed the BJP and the leadership of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, the party’s youth wing, for contradicting each other about the recent spate of attacks on Christians in Orissa and Karnataka.
