Rabiram Narzary, president of the Bodoland Peoples? Progressive Front (Rabiram faction), on Thursday slammed the maiden budget of the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) as ?misleading, directionless and anti-people?.
Addressing a news meet at the party office in Kokrajhar, Narzary alleged that BTC chief Hagrama Mohilary ?has clubbed all central schemes to mislead the people? within the Rs 583.73-crore budget. The actual budget allocation for development activities was only Rs 140.78 crore, he added.
