Guwahati, Feb 8: Green Valley Sports Club, Guwahati, conceded a self goal in the sixth minute of the second half to settle for a 3-3 draw with Bhaichung Bhutia-led United Sikkim FC in a second division I-League match in Silchar this afternoon.
Tollygunje Agragami recruit foreigner Salau Nuruddin Olawale, who fashioned the lead for Green Valley in the 21st minute, scored a hattrick.
The first half ended in a 1-1 draw with Daniel equalising for United Sikkim in the 45th minute and Thoi Singh netting another goal for United Sikkim in the first minute of the second half.
Green Valley conceded the third goal when stopper Lalrinzuala Khiutame’s efforts to tackle a Bhutia shot proved futile. Nuruddin, whose lone goal helped them hold Southern Samity to a 1-1 draw in the first match on Saturday, netted a brace in the last five minutes to complete his hattrick.
The match was interrupted for about six minutes midway into the second half following a fight between Bhutia and Amal Ghosh.
