Hailakandi, Sept. 4: Barak Chanura Lup won the first Raghunandan Dhubi Women’s Football Championship title defeating Dolu Rising Club 3-0 in the final at the Pailapool Nehru School ground in Lakhipur sub-division on Sunday.

The tournament was organised by the Lakhipur DSA.

Dayabati Singha scored the first two goals for Barak Lup in the 19th and 42nd minutes. Firthungpui Hmar scored the third and final goal for her club in the 56th minute.

Firthungpui Hmar was named the best player of the final. Her teammate Dayabati Singha emerged the topscorer of the tournament. Rajashri Karmakar of Dolu Club was adjudged the player of the tournament. Meghdoot Club won the most disciplined team award.
