Dhemaji, June 16: The army is setting up a primary school at Gelemo in Limeking circle of Upper Subansiri district in Arunachal Pradesh.

The village is not connected by road and did not have a school.

Sawaiman Primary School (SPS) has been established by Sawaiman Battalion of the Spearhead division of the army, which has provided books, stationary, school bags and lunch boxes too.

At present, qualified army personnel are doubling as teachers in the school.
