‘Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein’ on Netflix

Fresh off the success of ‘83, which saw him playing Sunil Gavaskar, Tahir Raj Bhasin is under the spotlight once again with his new Netflix series Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein. The eight-episode series helmed by Sidharth Sengupta stars Bhasin in the role of Vikrant, a humble small-town boy who is in love with a girl named Shikha (Shweta Tripathi). Their alliance is threatened by Purva (Anchal Singh), the daughter of a powerful local politician who falls for Vikrant and grows quite obsessive about him.

The drama puts a refreshing spin on the usual gangster genre and promises some well-paced twists. Bhasin and Tripathi have already been praised for their performances. The show also stars Saurabh Shukla, Surya Sharma, Bijendra Kala, Arunodya Singh and Sunita Rajwar.
