Usher in Halloween with the new ‘Paranormal Activity’
'Paranormal Activity: Next of Kin' promises to be a searing horror fest

Not every horror film franchise spanning across a decade runs out of steam after six films. Case in point? Paranormal Activity. The blockbuster found-footage horror series has a brand new instalment titled, Next of Kin that is scheduled to release on Paramount+ on October 29, just in time for Halloween.
The film has been touted as a reboot and the makers have promised something fresh that will build upon the legacy of the earlier films. The plot revolves around a woman’s quest to learn about her parents in an Amish community, where she encounters supernatural forces.
The trailer seems particularly spooky, with Emily Bader’s protagonist, Margot drawing a lot of buzz. Hopefully, the movie will reward fans with truly gut-wrenching moments, as is iconic of Paranormal Activity films.
