If friendships between dreamy CGI animals and adorable teenagers is your thing, Netflix’s upcoming release, Chupa, is just right for you. The trailer of the film follows a teenage boy travelling from Kansas to Mexico to meet his extended family for the first time. A cute conflict arises when he finds a chupacabra in his grandfather’s shed, and decides to rescue it from danger. What follows is a glorious adventure, snippets of which are hinted at in the trailer’s breathtaking shots, promising a lot of heartwarming moments tucked between spectacle. Releasing on April 7, the streamer seems to have a big winner on its hands.
