The anticipation for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is at its peak, and Sony has dropped a special surprise for us Indian fans. The recent Hindi trailer introduces our very own Indian Spider-Man, Pavitr Prabhakar, who will be voiced by cricketer Shubman Gill. The trailer launch took place in Mumbai, introducing the audiences to the world of Pavitr Prabhakar.
Gill aces Prabhakar’s desi diction, and the clip introduces us to a Spidey who lives in the traffic-infested city of Mumbattan (wonder where its inspired from?). Apart from the Hindi version, he will also voice the character’s Punjabi version!
Whether it’s the relatable dialogues or the iconic quirks that only us Indians get, we are really excited to dive into the Spider-Verse again. The bonus? This film will be released in India on June 1, a day before the US!
