‘Sardar Udham’ brings forth a story of heroism

Based on true events, Shoojit Sircar’s Sardar Udham traces the story of Udham Singh, the man who shot Michael O’Dwyer in London to avenge the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. Recreating London of the 1930s — with vintage cars, soot-lined chimneys and stunning cityscapes — the film is set to be a visual masterpiece.

Vicky Kaushal plays the part of Sardar Udham — showing the anger in the hearts of the youth of India during the British Raj. The trailer packs powerful dialogues and the recreation of pre-Independence events that seems to have come alive from history books. The trailer portrays the events of that time with sensitivity and masterful narration. It is releasing on October 16 on Amazon Prime Video and we can’t wait to watch it!
