‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’ is Prime Video’s next release, currently still in production

Prime Video recently dropped a compelling teaser to their upcoming thriller-drama, Ae Watan Mere Watan, a film inspired by true events set around the time of the Quit India movement. The clip features Sara Ali Khan as a freedom fighter in a khadi saree, assembling a secret radio and sending out a message, promising that the voice of uprising cannot be quashed. Directed by Kannan Iyer, producer Karan Johar announced on Instagram that the film is ‘an ode to the unsung heroes of India’s freedom struggle’. Currently still in production, this one promises to be an emotional ride.
