It seems like Hansal Mehta has another winner on his hands. After the mammoth success of Scam 1992, the director is returning with yet another series based on real life, Scoop. Adapted from Jigna Vora’s biographical book, Behind The Bars In Byculla: My Days In Prison, Netflix released the trailer for the series, starring Karishma Tanna and none other than Prosenjit Chatterjee. The clip hints at high-octane drama that takes place for journalists both within and beyond the newsroom. We can’t wait to see Jagruti Pathak’s story unfold, and get a closer look at the ethos of Indian news.
