Netflix’s next examines Yash Chopra’s ability to craft larger-than-life romances

‘The Romantics’ is a four-part docuseries, which will release on February 14

Romance isn’t just another genre in Hindi cinema. It is the spine of the industry, responsible for some of the most gripping stories ever told on the big screen. And one man did it better than anyone else. 

In order to deconstruct the magic of Hindi cinema, Netflix is coming up with a four-part docuseries on the legendary Yash Chopra and his production house, Yash Raj Films, which have created some of the most memorable romances in the last 50 years. Titled, The Romantics, the series features 35 interviewees sharing insights from their experiences working with the director and his impact on the entire entertainment industry. The star-studded line-up includes Shah Rukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Rani Mukherjee, Ranveer Singh and more! Directed by Indian Matchmaking creator Smriti Mundhra, The Romantics releases on February 14.
