Few bands have had the cultural impact that The Beatles did. Hence, it is a landmark event to see the four original band members collaborate for one last song, fittingly named, Now And Then. The music video feels like an emotional blend of the past and the present, with Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr taking up their original spots, while George Harrison and John Lennon contribute posthumously.

The song was conceived over five decades ago, with Paul, Ringo and George working on John’s recording in 1995 as a part of The Beatles Anthology. However, it remained unfinished due to the technology of the time. Finally, a software by Peter Jackson and his team helped them uncouple John’s vocals from the piano, and the original recording could be brought to life with contributions from all four members. As we listen to it, we are gripped by the joy of experiencing one of the most brilliant collaborations again, and the sadness of witnessing it for the last time.
