Premiering today, Mo is the latest in a long line of semi-autobiographical shows created by comedians. The premise has a punch extending beyond the laughs, following the antics of Palestinian refugee Mo Najjar (Mo Amer), as he tries to navigate the distance between his native culture and adopted one, and the complexity of attaining citizenship. The fun law-breaking subplot and plenty of jokes along the journey, makes this the next show on our watchlist.
