MKBHD does a ‘Tech Rewind’ for 2021

When YouTube botches up the rewind, YouTubers do it themselves! Ace tech YouTuber Marques Brownlee uploaded his own ‘Tech Rewind 2021’ on his channel, boiling down the highs, lows and everything in between from the past year into 13 minutes.
The clip opens with gorgeous shots of 2021’s most popular devices, including the S21 Ultra, Apple AirTags and the Electric Hummer, after which he looks back at the year that has seen him start three new channels, totalling 240 videos uploaded. He also points towards the biggest tech movements of the year which include a permanence of short-form content, the rise of cryptocurrency, adoption of custom silicon chips, alternate form factors like folding phones, and revolutionary electric vehicles. Strongly hinting at these trends becoming even more prominent in 2022, we can’t wait to see how MKBHD breaks them down for us going forward.
