‘Byomkesh Hotyamancha’, starring Abir Chatterjee, premiering on Hoichoi on October 14

The trailer for Byomkesh Hotyamancha promises a film that will be a cesspool of intrigue and drama. The Arindam Sil directorial sees Abir Chatterjee return as the popular sleuth, this time faced with a unique case: a murder that was literally staged in front of him. Set during the Naxalite unrest of 1971, the clip shows that the makers have got the retro-Kolkata look just right. We hope to experience a thrilling Byomkesh adventure too, when it premieres on Hoichoi on October 14.
