‘Downton Abbey: A New Era’ is slated for release in March 2022

Downton fans who have been pining since the last movie, finally have something to look forward to! For one, they can depend on the Dowager Countess to have a mysterious past. Of course, what’s a Downton movie without a wedding? And the very stiff-upper-lip Carson being simultaneously stuffy and adorable “... the British are coming.” Yes, the inhabitants of Downton Abbey - both upstairs and downstairs - are back to steal hearts.
Downton Abbey: A New Era takes us further into the roaring 20s with Mary quietly at the helm and Branson striding down the aisle. In case the English countryside and the London scenes were becoming predictable, this movie takes us to the French Riviera. The movie is expected to release in March 2022 and promises to be “the grandest escape of the year”.
