In 1988, Tim Burton created one of the most memorable intersections of fantasy, horror and comedy with his film, Beetlejuice. Michael Keaton played the paranormal presence that haunted the Deetz family for years, before he was finally done away with for good.

Over three decades later, Beetlejuice is returning to the big screen. The trailer of the sequel, titled Beetlejuice Beetlejuice gives us a glimpse of the drama that unfolds when a new generation of the family accidentally summons the ghost, letting loose fresh chaos in the life of the Deetz family! The trailer also follows Burton’s rich visual legacy, achieving a sharp aesthetic with the make up, costumes, and sets that Burton is known for. In addition to Keaton, Winona Ryder and Catherine O’Hara will also be reprising their roles from the first film, with Jenna Ortega, Justin Theroux, Monica Bellucci and Willem Dafoe joining the cast. Set to release on September 6, this film deserves to be watched on the big screen!
